Built by an engineer who owns rentals.
I'm Praneet Soni — a software engineer and rental-property owner, and the founder of BirchSight. I build the whole product: the connector, the website, and the onboarding calls.
BirchSight exists because I watched my own maintenance vendors drown in double entry. A work order would arrive from Property Meld, someone in their office would copy the address, the unit, and the tenant's phone number into Jobber, set up the job, then go back to Property Meld to update the property manager. Every meld, every day. The vendors doing the best work were getting graded slow because of a copy-paste chore.
That problem is dumb, and computers should do it. So BirchSight reads the meld notification emails a vendor already receives and creates the matching Jobber job in minutes — then posts scheduling updates back to the Meld thread so the property manager never has to chase anyone.
How I build it
- A boring middle layer. BirchSight connects the tools you already pay for. Your data lives in your Gmail and your Jobber — turn BirchSight off and everything stays where it was.
- Read-only until trusted. New accounts start in read-only mode: BirchSight drafts, you approve, until you decide it has earned outbound. Every action lands in a log you can audit.
- Least-possible access. Read-only on incoming Property Meld threads, send-only on those same threads, never anything else. Tokens are encrypted at rest with Google Cloud KMS.
Talk to me
Founding-cohort onboarding is hands-on — I do the 15-minute setup screen-share personally. You can book a call, email support@birchsight.com, or find me on LinkedIn. If you run on Property Meld and Jobber, request early access — and if you run on AppFolio, Buildium, Housecall Pro, or ServiceTitan, the integrations page has a waitlist for each pair.
